Know things aren't great right now, but after dealing with a family event, I'm officially looking for freelance work again. Made a new portfolio selection, focusing on what I think I do best - interviews.

Please reach out if you want to talk or are open to pitches. www.clippings.me/users/hayesm...
Huh, this is a weird feeling. Some people know this, but Star Wars Insider was actually founded by my dad. He sold the company after Episode I. But Star Wars was a huge part of my life growing up because of it.
The official Star Wars magazine STAR WARS INSIDER will come to an end in 2026 😔

The final 2 issues of the magazine, which launched in 1994, will be published early next year

Fwiw, I actually asked Yoshinori Kitase about this in an interview two years ago and he laughed and literally just said "Tell me why you want that."

Genuinely don't have words anymore for all the dumb evil shit we see on a daily basis. Took the weekend off social media mostly, and catching up on dems giving up on American having even moderately affordable healthcare

Episode 5 of Dispatch is definitely my favorite so far. Has a whole bar fight sequence that’s enormously fun

I’ll officially be in LA for The Game Awards, December 10-12. Feel free to reach out if you have a story, something to see, or want to buy a guy a coffee

Somehow, I don’t think this is Nintendo approved

Genuinely one of the best games of the year. Play it.
One thing we hear consistently about despelote is how much its writing resonates with people around the world—it's a personal story, in the best way.

I’ve gone to two Denver Broncos games in the last year, tickets for two. And I didn’t spent even as much as a SINGLE ticket to The Game Awards might cost
November 7, 2025 at 6:58 PM
Considering how unwilling this show has been to give us tickets for years - yeah this checks out
I asked about Game Awards press tickets in October. Got an email yesterday encouraging me to buy my own, as there were no spares.

I typically would have written something for N7 Day - but life and work just didn't work out like that. Anyway, it's the only thing in my life that's ever pushed me to actually get a tattoo - and I genuinelyu hope we get to see the next game
