What's Doug Ford stealing today I wonder? Only the most valuable public asset you mostly never think about. Is this a good idea? Ask Britain, whose privatized water systems drown in debt while the waterways and beaches are fouled in human shit. #onpoli

We all know Ford is an abject liar.

The amount of money being thrown at corporations (particularly developers) through this boondoggle and many others (OSC, Ontario Place, stupid tunnel, the 413, the Greenbelt, ad nauseam) and then tossed back to the “government” is like a game of hot potato.
NEW: A company that got $2M from the Skills Development Fund is run by a dentist who boasts about having the Ford family among his patients.

Ford says he had nothing to do with it getting a grant: “I don't believe in micromanaging.”

It's honestly alarming how little transparency and accountability we are seeing from this government. The pattern is clear: decisions benefiting insiders, rushed policies, and a refusal to answer to the public. It feels like they believe they OWN Ontario instead of serving it. #OnPoli #VoteFordOut

Meanwhile Angus Reid is pumping out polls saying "a firm majority (59%) including in BC support a oil pipeline running from northern Alberta to the northwest B.C. coast."
Really? Honestly you guys had more credibility when you were tweeting about Justin Trudeau "legitimizing church burnings".

This is the Douglas Channel where Danielle Smith expects massive oil tankers to navigate oil safely from Kitimat to markets in Asia.
This is also where even ferries run aground in shallow water and high windspeeds FFS.
This is why we have a BC moratorium on oil tanker traffic.

So PM Goldman Sachs excluded an experienced environment minister under Trudeau, Steven Guilbeault, from deliberations on the pipeline agreement with Alberta? And the MPs who are upset are worried about their seats but climate collapse, not so much?
