Did we hear that right? Is Forest Minister Parmar trying to gaslight us? 🤔

Every day, irreplaceable #oldgrowth and critical habitat continue to fall while the BC NDP government claims progress.

If you’re tired of talk-and-log politics, now’s the moment to act.

It’s important to note that negative #climate tipping points cannot be reversed.

This means that if the world underestimates how certain events could trigger a climate tipping point, we might run out of time to act before the damage becomes irreversible.
Climate tipping points are close: scientists urge radical action before it’s too late
Dangerous climate tipping points will threaten food, water and coastlines. They’re irreversible and only radically accelerated climate action can stop them now.

2025 has not been a good year for the climate 😵‍💫

Across Canada, governments are rolling back environmental protections, using U.S. tariffs as an excuse.

The only real path forward? Ending #fossilfuel dependence and rapidly building a renewable energy future.

#COP30 failed to adopt a proposal to develop a roadmap to transition away from fossil fuels.

In other words, 3 decades have consolidated an astounding contradiction: an agreement to get to net-zero w/out acknowledging the need to wind down #fossilfuels.
