Rare val-made artpost. WIP, and will be B/W for the book but i wanted to update and improve the solar system map. These are the inner planets of the system, with a few more gas giants and random planets that don't have narrative value (yet) beyond. The purple storm is the aether sea!
Illustration of a fictional solar system with 3 stars and 5 planets. There is 1 medium red star, itself orbited by a smaller purple star, and a yellow star in the distance. The planets are mostly terrestrial, ranging from blue, green, orange, and purple. There are no specific details as its from a great distance, but one is obviously a gas giant. It is orbited by a habitable earth-sized moon. From the purple star a great cyclone of purple-yellow clouds has emerged. Huge lightning arcs stretch across the storm, spanning the entire solar system. Same map but with planet orbits and names. The stars are named Ningal (red) Styx (purple) and Thor (yellow). The planets are, in order, Zeon, Persephone, Pacifica, Hera with the moon Utnapishtim, and Enkidu. Enkidu orbits Thor, separate from the others and on a totally different plane, while hera is the only planet to orbit both stars.

wax time
an illustration by Spindle of the character Ottilie, a human with brown orange-ish short hair tied up in a bun. She's wearing a black hairband, a green shirt, and black short shorts (They look greenish here). The pose is of her sitting and waxing her l e g s. Surrounding her is a bowl with the wax, a soft brush, a cloth, and a small oil jar with incense in it. (some smol lore bit, the wax itself is a mix of honey wax and/or resin, scent herbs and Kul root; a fictional plant, when mixed with the oil of its fruits and "cooked", help soothe and moisturize skin. The incense itself is a bit different from regular incense, it more so is similar to candles, the stick draws in the oil and heats it up [using small runes engraved on the stick] to create the incense. These are usually used for quick makeshift "scented candles" or if you're otti, can't be bothered to buy a candle. The oil itself here is used after hair removal, but bonus use is the nice smell for otti)
