It certainly has other point defence uses! - the limitations to consider are power source and, sometimes, weather.

Obviously more money is always going to make life easier, though I think the UK's continual inability to come to a decision on what the UKAF are supposed to do (and what *actually* are the priorities in short/med/long term) continues to hamper us using resources effectively.
