Amazing day going up Snowdon today - at base level the cloud was as low as 500ft, so not promising. But as we cleared around 2,000ft we emerged above the clouds, and this is what we got. I'm in no shape to do this hike any more (I got the train, of course!) but it's still worth getting up here.

Once in a while I remember that Simply Red's debut album is an absolute fucking belter. The 80s production has actually aged well here, the musicianship is top notch, and it captures the freshness of Hucknall's 'white boy R&B/soul' vide, before it became schmaltzy and over-poppy. Lovely stuff.
