I hope that this is enough of a breaking point for people to be able to start doing their own digging and not trusting blindly. I sincerely apologize to you for not trusting myself back in 2023 when I felt something was off and going with the mass. You were awesome to talk too at my first Riptide.

I'd like to politely request people to boycott Twin Squiddies if they are able to. The head TOs are Six and IMAD. If it's the only LAN you are able to attend I understand but please do not attend this event if possible. Main reasoning for the boycott be attached below for people out of the loop.

- Consistently Cook and pack meals for work

Something I've learned over time is that most misinformation (in general) isn't blatent lying, its information being conveyed with some truth to it, that makes it a lot harder to catch. Often times this isn't even done intentionally, and is easier when emotions are high.

I’ve seen a lot of communities fall into the same mindsets whenever situations like this happen :le “believe the victim” vs. “innocent until proven guilty.” Both are very important but when either is treated as absolute, it becomes harmful for both sides.

In private spaces w friends I’ve shared my support for Gem and my unease with Six, both before and after the allegations were made. I haven’t seen any TOs speak to whether or not it was appropriate to reveal a person’s DMs and documents shared in confidence. I’m worried that, in doing so, SSC muddled the message of wanting to appear more trustworthy. I would love to hear a TOs take on that.
