Instinctively, I walked into it, and found myself in a very familiar location. The Void!
The others couldn't follow me (the portal seemingly not letting them), so I headed onwards to the branch the Chain Hanger was hanged from.
"Oh, you're returned," he said from within his chains.

I would have replied, "Let's try other methods first, before resorting to that." But, the instant my hand was near the tree, I felt an unusual feeling in my fingers.
Reaching out to empty air, I pulled downwards, to the shock of myself and the others.
"Squeak! Is that a portal, but how?"

We must have walked past at least: twelve confessions of love; ten marriage proposals; five anniversaries; and two people in a bush doing who knows what. Before we finally got to the base of the tree.
"So, are we just going to bash your head and hope you have another coma," Steve asked me.

When we walked through the entrance to the park, it became really obvious why Gust was so sure of it.
Right in the centre, it's crown of pink petals acting like a roof of the whole place. The Legendary Tree of Confessions.
Like every other aspect of this world, there was a lovely dovey theme.

It sounds silly, but if I can find this Leaf version of the Great Will Tree, then maybe there's a way to enter the Void again, a way to talk to my mysterious counterpart.
Not just about the death of the Chain Gunslinger, but also on the various other things we're currently facing.

The person holding it? A figure whose face was wrapped in chains, a figure who was her counterpart.
Most likely, the Chain Hanger had entered her Leaf (seeing as he was one of the only few with the power to) at one point in the past and mercy killed her.
But I can only guess that... unless...

When they both told me what I had muttered, I knew exactly what that was in reference to.
Each time I've been using my Will Weapon, the clearer of an idea I've got of the Chain Gunslinger's past. And, this last time, I was able to view her last ever memory.
Her own gun pointed at her skull.

The Crescent Moon Beast took them down with ease. He just clawed up one, ripped a tentacle off, beat the other to death with it, before going back to finish the last one. Afterwards, he went back to swimming like nothing had happened.

I: Why Satoru?
S: Two reasons, one, because the male protagonist of Ape Escape 3 is called that. Two, it's my actual name.
I: Wait, so Steve is...
S: My anglicised name. Usually prefer it. But the Satoru Swing sounds better than the Steve Swing.

He managed to summon out a Will Weapon. One that will hopefully be useful against our current threat.
So, while I'm still quite mad at him. At least he won't be as useless for the time being.

I braced myself for the explosion. Worried about the damage it would do.
Then...
Steve spotted me from a distance, and leapt into action, despite not having a plan.
And as he got close something started to form in his hands, a net that managed to capture the bomb and contain its explosion.

It was around lunchtime, I had wandered off to get some food, when a few Love Bombs popped up.
Summoning my syringe gun out, I took on the Chain Gunslinger's skill to shoot down all the bombs.
But, I guess even with her skill, there was always a chance of missing a shot. And so one was left.

Also, I wish someone would explain what her nickname, "The Queen of Lez Dom" means. Everyone is too shy to explain it to me. But I can't understand why.

But, it's not all bad.
While it does suck being away from our friends and families, the new friends we have here are also just as great.
There's this one member of the Romantic Strings named Alan who's been teaching me mahjong. I'm still not that good at it, but it's super fun.

Gust is planning to still help us in getting us back to our worlds, but sadly he can't just take his gang over to Shiori's gang and beat them up. Something about stepping into a third gang territory or something.
In any case, sadly I think the three of us will be stuck here for a while.
