the best use case for any of this shit that I’ve heard is essentially as evolution of sampling. Rather than sampling a symphony orchestra or a jazz octet from a record you get it from AI. Again, that’s *the best* use case. But like a sampler, it won’t help if you can’t rap or sing in the first place
All AI music does is devalue the work done by human artists. It’s not accessibility, it’s exploitation. We need real protections for artists against AI!
BTW — even if you had access to this AI startup as a child, you still wouldn’t know how to make music.

Haha, great. Next stop Sp*tify makes a play for the publishing of all the songs with uncleared samples now they’ve got a massive list of what they all are. I preferred learning about sample use from a neon pink Geocities page anyway.

sample sources were not added to liner notes in every instance and *I believe* were only done when the rights holder requested it. now you’re gonna have it all just baked into the Spotify app including hella erroneous shit. just because
