Soup’s on, Moroccan inspired, onion, garlic, orange bell pepper (because that’s what I have), potatoes, brown lentils, spicy merguez, cumin, coriander, paprika and a dash of balsamic vinegar and drizzle of California extra virgin olive oil at the end…served with garlic cheesey bread….

Started a new batch of basturma, something like Turkish sujuk, a beef and lamb mixture, heavy on the garlic spiced with my own baharat mix, salt and pepper and a bit of red wine. After pressing them for a few days, they will hang till dry, maybe a couple of weeks.
