So the racist in chief, removed MLK and Juneteenth from the list of fee-free days, also a notice regarding the upcoming changes for 2026 said that entrance fee-free days will “only apply to US citizens and residents.” So now the park service will request proof of citizenship and residency…

I hate it when wildlife decides to get chatty around 3:00 am. I was having a hard time sleeping and just when I was finally about to sleep, an owl decides to hoot 🙄 right outside my window, then another owl answers him and it went on for about an hour…😵💫….

Started a new batch of basturma, something like Turkish sujuk, a beef and lamb mixture, heavy on the garlic spiced with my own baharat mix, salt and pepper and a bit of red wine. After pressing them for a few days, they will hang till dry, maybe a couple of weeks.
