Anyone here know Chinese spices well? These seed pods (?) were in my beef stew. The chef is from the Chongqing area and the dish definitely tasted Szechuan, but I have never seen these, and the wait staff didn't know its name.

Without intending to, I had managed to avoid hearing "Wonderful Christmastime" until coming down for breakfast this morning at my hotel. And then, bam.

Signed up for a spa treatment at the hotel because they were open today and my mom was recovering from her trip, so I had time. Ended up getting a Hammam treatment which involved a hot shirtless dude giving me a foam massage.
