This wasn’t an easy decision to make: there are AAA games released every year that lead to interesting conversations and critiques. But there are so many classics we’ve left untouched, and the games that truly captured our heart in 2025 were, by and large, passionate indie projects.

As a quick addendum: I really would love to see folks there, however, this tournament is in America. As this nation sinks deeper into modern Nazism, it’s so unsafe for a lot of our international friends to visit. Please take care- I’d love to see you, but more than that, I’d love to see you SAFE.
