Two major misses though.
Eze: just lacks off the ball awareness / intensity to play LW in a game like this. Was surprised to see him even start, doesn't really have what Arteta usually wants out of possession

Another goal and assist for Mikel Merino. Since moving to centre-forward a month ago, he has scored four and assisted three. And Arsenal have produced their best attacking football with him up front (admittedly not in second half tonight). Merino is the man right now. The nine.

I reckon the only good news is that with Saliba sitting behind the bench in training gear, he was very close to making it. Fingers crossed it's super short term.
