Also, set-pieces come from somewhere.
Usually from consistently being in danger zones.
Pino could have just allowed Saka to dribble into a danger zone, but he tripped him up to stop just that.

It's not like we score from Raya taking goal-kicks.

Game state / incentive:
Once you are as good at set-piece and solid defensively, the incentive goes down to up open play chances. Especially once you are ahead in games. Why take higher risk open play when you can spam lower-risk set-pieces?

If team can't even create SoTs, why would you bother
