It's not a foolproof plan but every political debate from now on should be a Normal Guy competition. Ask them to describe grocery shopping in detail. Talk about what it's like to have a friend

It's fun having friends that are like

"Hey here's this freaky little creature you'll love this"

And I'm like

"Wow I love this freaky little creature"

Hot damn do Toronto drivers suck when the TTC has a subway closure.

What was regularly a thirty minute or better subway ride I take regularly. Turned into an hour and forty minute mix subway/shuttle bus experience.

Went to go to a screening of Lesbian Space Princess with just the trailer as a selling point.
"If at worst it's hopefully a trashy enough watch."

It was just fantastic!
It takes a bit for Siara to come out of her emotional funk. When she does though, the story about coming to love yourself slays.

Just gotta say that UPS is utterly evil in charging administrative fees twice what the expected duties are.

Don't be a dick to your Canadian friends. Don't use UPS.

This is the most ruthless act of union busting in the history of the UK games industry. Yesterday, @rockstargames.com unfairly fired over 30 employees for union activity.

We won't back down, and we're not scared - we will fight for every member to be reinstated.
BREAKING: Yesterday Grand Theft Auto VI maker Rockstar Games fired dozens of people, all of whom were involved in union efforts. A British union calls it "blatant and ruthless" union-busting. Take-Two Interactive says it was due to misconduct.

Here's the scoop: www.bloomberg.com/news/article...

Union says 30 and 40 people were terminated. Rockstar Games’ parent company cites ‘gross misconduct’

Man, it's been an interesting as heck time reading about how many folks I follow are on the west coast.
Also, seeing them digging deep against the Blue Jays is also a key part of the experience.

I went to catch an IMAX screening of Frankenstein earlier.
Just an utterly fantastic and damn faithful as heck adaptation.
Has a few small changes, but GDT really works the message of the story excellently.

Be warned that it has a good level of gore and horror.
Absolutely beautiful stuff though.

There's a really fun new character creation tool that got released for free last weekend for the #furry #yinglet species.

I've been seeing some folks have a good bit of fun making them on my more closer social media platforms.
Steam Workshop support is coming

One more #TADFilmFest shout-out(for now)
I may have missed Hold the Fort, but On Gallows Hill was something special
A nice, super indie flick about a guy going through the motions as he adapts to suddenly becoming a vampire

It carries a truely Toronto After Dark vibe with it. If you know, you know

Hey! #TTC, are you okay?

I know it's the weekend, but the fuckery on the streets is actively making a long diversion to the subway and back down seem faster.
It might be the "weekend" but we still have places we need to be in a sensible period of time.

Been enjoying this year's #TADfilmfest
Last night was the very trippy Spy-Psycho-Drama Reflection in a Dead Diamond.

Followed by the heartsome The Forbidden City. Plenty of action, thrills, and hidden truths that unwind as the film rolls on.
Definitely a must see if liked Freaks Out(vs. The Reich).

Went to go see Queens of the Dead at Toronto After Dark last night. A zombie flick from George Romero's daughter, Tina.

A shiny queer take on a zombie outbreak. It brings the drama, humour, and heartbreak around a group of old and new friends trying to survive the night.
A sold four out of five IMO

Just a heads up that the survey itself is a doozey in terms of length. That we're likely to see supporters use the AI crap to fill it in for themselves.

So be sure to give it a poke and submit what you can.

On a more serious note, Canadian postal workers went back on strike.
With the declaration from the federal government on changes needed to maintain the system. We need to ask if this counts as a creative intervention against the workers in their attempt to make gains in their negotiations.

Went out to go see tonight's #PeepshowTO show, Press Start to Strip
While a little Nintendo leaning, there were a TON of fun performances. Really loved the bits with Isabelle(Majestic M.) and Ghost(Jesus' Sis)

Ended with a slight sad note as Velvet Valhalla announced leaving as co-host of the show.

This is another announcement of war crimes to be committed.
This latest streak has been going on for a good few years now.

The hostages are likely long gone by now.
Done in by the weapons used to defeat the enemy indiscriminately.

Oh, Smeallie is on here under @.kyssimmee.com
Under a different search, I see that @bigbigtruck.com is also owed money.

If anyone has contact info for Owlin, Jon Allen, Cy, Kyle Smeallie, or S.J. Miller, let them know too! And I have no idea who's owed for all the anthologies.
