Oh also - some Starbucks have these fun Korean passports where you can collect stamps at the featured stores. It’s free.

Have fun and post pics - I would love to go back and visit bits of Seoul we didn’t get to (Itaewon for example) and also try a fast train to Busan. Also got swapped off the 748 upstairs ride to a 773 this time so need to try again!

Nice! I found Apple Pay was generally accepted most places (convenience stores and the like).

@airlineflyer.net it's worth getting some one trip tickets on Seoul metro and not redeeming your small deposit as they have some cool designs.

Other useful advice - get some cash for the subway system or load up a T Money card. I also picked up an LG local SIM at ICN (I had pre-ordered it online) and they were great at getting me setup and answering questions. inmykorea.com/t-money-card...

Yeah you come out of the priority checkin zone they have straight into regular security before you can clear and use the lounges (which are nice). KE lounge at LHR is crappy though as it’s a shared generic T4 one.

UK passport holder - I was there a few weeks ago, no benefit I could see so I didn’t do it. Main downside of the whole travel experience was ICN has no priority security for KE premium passengers. Great place to visit though!

I used to use these a lot in San Diego on the car2go scheme. I really liked the electric ForTwo. I also parked all of these here together to earn some drive time credit when they wanted the fleet moved around :) I also owned a 450 Brabus for a while in England.

In the UK I'd also recommend used from CEX (uk.webuy.com) - they come with a 5 year warranty. I'm considering an M2 Air from them as I had such a poor experience using an iPad Pro as my only computer on holiday.
