Arriving up from the country, I saw this scratched into a table in one of the old-style lecture halls when I studied engineering at Trinity College. It was my introduction to Tom Waits. Everything went downhill from there, in the best possible way:

As of this morning, concrete has yet to be poured on the former green area on Watercourse Road. The council still have time to do the right thing and return it grass and re-plant the four trees. Show Blackpool some love for a change!
