The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries in #SouthKorea has named the
Hwaamchu #Lighthouse in the port of #Ulsan "Lighthouse of the Month" for November. The current tower was built in 1994 and expanded in 2002; it is the first lighthouse in #Korea to include an elevator.

The 1884 Old Wadamisaki #Lighthouse in #Kōbe, #Japan, will be open to the public on November 1. Admission is free. The lighthouse was deactivated in 1963, and has been a protected cultural property ever since.
