I’m personally very proud that my son has been riding the bus in LA since he was a few months old. My hope is he’ll grow up with a strong comfort and connection with his city, and that in his teen years he’ll enjoy the freedom to go exploring independently.
One more thing. When I wrote about this study showing one-third of Americans don't drive, people were messaging me saying this cannot be true for LA.
In LA County *23 percent* of the population is under 16. Kids are people! We must plan for their movement, just like all nondrivers. Hope that helps!

Maligning basic, safe OTC medications that most people have to resort to, like acetaminophen and ibuprofen, is part of a larger scam to blame people for their health problems (or their children's health needs or problems), so that the administration can claim people don't deserve care or support.
