Talking about it with friends and I think you can consider Ishiguro's opening for Kusuriya the link between his fine work of the past and the outstanding work for Shoushimin & Seihantai. Something about the way he built the fake dioramas feels like he was transcending the 2D cel paradigm already

One of my favorite things about Sekimeiya is how you not only have the log of the entire game up until the current point (separated into scenes with summaries and space for notes), it is also entirely *searchable* and you can jump back into the previous scenes at will.

Grinded 350 splash tokens for the previous ER season, and I need 450 to get tropical dimension abigail. But I haven't been playing ER at all recently so I don't think I'll get it at this point. Feels terrible to just let them expire though...

finished S2 of Apothecary Diaries. The second half didn't have much in the way of mystery-solving, but I enjoyed the story a lot regardless. Maomao continues to be one of my favorite protagonists ever, and Shisui was a great addition to the cast.

I can't believe NYT paywalled the mini crossword. That was my favorite morning activity and a fun way to stay connected with friends/family via the leaderboard. I'm actually devastated
