The EU is adding Russia to its blacklist of countries at high risk of money laundering and financing terrorism, according to two EU officials and a document seen by POLITICO.
The EU is finally blacklisting Russia for money laundering
The move will oblige financial institutions to strengthen due diligence on all transactions.

I endorse this plan.
Not that anyone has asked but here is my plan for peace in Ukraine. Russia withdraws to pre 2014 borders. Ukraine joins EU and NATO. If Russia behaves they get sanctions relief after all seized assets are sold off to pay for a reconstruction fund. Simple

The artwork, showing a child shielding her toys from a Russian missile, was created by artist Andriy Yermolenko. He described it as “a cry for help to the global community.”
