Digging through the archives. A glorious dahlia shot in the summer. I can almost feel the warmth of the sun. The bulbs are shooting up now - spring is around the corner.

Went kite flying at the weekend. Nearly stayed home because it was -4 C outside.

The wind was perfect, the view went on forever and I came home lighter than I went out.

There’s no moral to this story, just go and fly a kite. You’ll thank me later.😉

I'm going to give this Great Horned Owl the benefit of the doubt and say that he was sitting on a muskrat in an effort to keep it warm. I'm probably being a bit more generous than he deserves. #wildlife #birds #owls

'Flower Fox' ~ Wooden spoon carved in Maple and Macadamia woods.
