Distinguishing mediocre writing from great writing is incredibly hard unless you actively practice both reading and writing as more than just basic transactional things for communication
I think a large number of people have *never* been able to distinguish good writing from bad. Terrible writing from great writing? Yes. But when the difference is more subtle, most people don't see it. And that "not quite bad enough" area is where AI lives.
Truth is, an increasing number of people can’t read, or understand what they just read. So not that surprising, to be honest.

If folks are in your spaces harassing other people, especially on your behalf, and you choose to do nothing about it, you're letting everyone know that's acceptable to you.
