I saw this a few years back at the Oxford Film Festival in Mississippi. I cried through most of it because it features an old friend, Mark Reynolds (who is no longer with us). There’s still a large portion of bands who were “never famous” but will live on and continue to influence long afterwards.
And to close it out at ten, here's a great forgotten one. This is basically the story of southern college rock bands in the 80's. It was produced as a Master's Degree Thesis. This is a very punk rock thing to do.
