I think the general internet argument view of “you have emotion about this event har har, you’re triggered, you have an emotional response to cruelty har har” has been a complete disaster for humanity both for the person being told that and for the person saying it

A spill on a family farm in Oklahoma killed several acres of vegetation and contaminated drinking water. A judge ordered the farmers to pay when they went after the oil company.
