I'm trusting in the organisers to do exactly that: organise. I'd be expecting a Hanley or two, probably John Robb as he's always good for hosting and M.C duties, maybe some music from former band members and other Manc notables. I dunno, I'm hazarding guesses. More like a wish list!

The itinerary is practically zero as it stands. I think they're getting a handle on numbers and will announce guests, speakers, and possible live performances. I've booked it by credit card, as there's a get-out clause that says, like booking a hotel, that you can cancel up to 30 days beforehand.

"Do you do floaters?" (they meant Flotex carpet)
"Have you a clothes brush? I'm going to an interview and I've got dirt on my suit!"

I have a good friend who is slavishly devoted to this lp.
"WHAAAATTTT????!!!!"
is his response when I reiterate that it would've been just a double if it hadn't been for contractual obligation. He's convinced that it's a masterpiece. Me? I think it would have been so much better as a double 🙂
