But I have a strong attachment to this place and it shows up in my dreams still. It's been fun to see how fondly many old friends are remembering it. It was a great place to grow up! You could get lost. I spent a lot of time climbing to the roof to sit on the Widow's Walk. You can see forever.

My childhood home is for sale, I think for only the second/third time in 50+ years. It has only had one other occupant since we left, but might have officially changed hands, an alcohol/drug counseling center.

Collection pickup yesterday for a late donor. I noticed some yearbooks and it turned out this guy was a year behind my aunt’s special guy friend Dave at Andover. Dave was abroad his senior year so isn’t in the yearbook, but he “exchanged” with the Von Stauffenberg family in Germany.
