Does anyone who follows me here suffer from epilepsy? My wife has been having more and more seizures as of late, and her GP has been... less than helpful, to say the least.
I'm hoping that I may be able to get at least an idea of what I could do to try and help her out a bit.

Thank you for looking at this in a realistic, appropriate and mature manner. A roof over my head is worth $30 an article. Feeding my family is worth $30 an article. I've done worse jobs for much less money, and it's just wild to see how it always comes back to this every. single. time.
Yeah, I’m not going to demonize a writer for taking a $30 per piece gig. Things are hard as hell. It’s exploitative, but the onus isn’t on them - some of which don’t know better and some don’t have better options. Blaming a writer for accepting something “beneath” them is entirely unproductive
If the takeaway from this is you needed to accept Waypoint's wages in order to survive, that should not be an indictment on you, it should be an indictment on the broader Internet and on our social safety nets and on our ability to provide for each other. Like, what the fuck.
