First time making this recipe and it turned out wonderfully. The batter for the shrimp was easy and tasty. The remoulade sauce is delicious also. Highly recommend it.

Wondering what the cat is destroying downstairs at {checks} 5:33am, but too sleepy comfy to get out of bed to find out.

So long as the cat hasn't yet levelled up to starting house fires (give it time) I'll deal with it during daylight.

It’s useful for people of my generation to be reminded that this wasn’t that long ago. Ruby Bridges isn’t just still alive—she’s only 71, not ancient!
65 years ago on Nov. 14, little Ruby Bridges was escorted into an all-white elementary school in New Orleans. Norman Rockwell, renowned for blissful depictions of Americana, did this remarkable painting for Look magazine. Printed as a double page, over-size spread, it's his masterpiece.

i love music videos and i think they are a very underrated form of art. perhaps it's because i was obsessed with watching music videos on mtv growing up but i can really appreciate a well made mv. matching visuals to music and being able to tell a story in just a couple of minutes

If you have ‘dibs’ on something, you claim or declare rights to that thing before anyone else.

‘Dibs’ comes from an old children's game called ‘dibstones,’ which resembled the game of jacks.
