Correct, the miniboss I'm working on needed a gloat phase after one of its attacks for better flow, so I had to make one in about 60 seconds so I could get back to work while I was on a roll programming.

I think it's very worth noting that Tallon Overworld is both the start of the game and contains five passageways (elevators) to other levels, which makes it a permanent part of your memory-labyrinth as you learn to unravel the world altogether.

Metroid Prime 4 cured my imposter syndrome, if Retro Studios can turn Metroid from a mega-labyrinth into 5 little mini-Metroid silos, I must be doing something right when I agonize about how all my levels connect to each other & the game progression WITHOUT a giant empty desert inbetween them.

I got myself thinking it's a great idea to make the game both top-down and side-scrolling, so that the side-scrolling gameplay can have more interesting combat akin to the 3D games. But, that means I'm basically making 2 games simultaneously. :D

I've been working on resurrecting Zelda since someone's got to do it, PROUDHEART is the game; actually, it's two games since it's top-down and side-scrolling both. Order of business this season is getting the demo feature-complete.
