Five years ago, I started a project that was everything you aren't supposed to do.
A big, hours-long single player action game with cutscenes and side quests galore.
After release last year, I've more than doubled the size of the game, and I'm not done yet.

Finished Prime 4 today. Took me about 12 hours. And I had SO many thoughts on it, I had to write over 5000 words on it.
Metroid is very, very important to me, and I was so sadly disappointed in Prime 4. I think I'll be sad for ages.

Metroid Prime 4 cured my imposter syndrome, if Retro Studios can turn Metroid from a mega-labyrinth into 5 little mini-Metroid silos, I must be doing something right when I agonize about how all my levels connect to each other & the game progression WITHOUT a giant empty desert inbetween them.

Got my annual vaccines and then passed out for 12 hours and had a vivid dream that Oda released a 200-page Final Chapter of One Piece in which the One Piece was not revealed and the Straw Hats were just living normal lives reminiscing about failing to beat the current arc villains

I need some indie to make an Animal Crossing clone that actually does the deep dialogue / rude villagers / fun holidays stuff again. Less Dollhouse, more Life Sim.
