Apart from be a Principal of a multi site special school I used to go into main stream schools to advise on curriculum, adaptations and removing barriers to learning. The words ‘we can’t’ were quite often used by leadership. Demonstrating that they ‘can’ and ‘must’ was my job.

We certainly have! We’re in Derbyshire and they’re one of the worst LA’s. Whatever we’ve achieved, we’ve done ourselves and overcome too much adversity. We need accountability to the laws to support our most vulnerable, as opposed to gaslighting and ghosting! 💔

What a journey you have been on. So many parents/carers do not get the support they and their children need. I’m regularly talking to parents to support then in finding their way through the SEND system.

What really makes me lol is the bit where he says ‘they’re coping’. Hmm maybe SEND kids deserve to thrive rather than just cope. Also he’s talking a load of 💩 either way. But that’s Reform for you … attack the most vulnerable so no one looks at what they’re doing.
