Yes I see this is getting pretty easy, only 900 or so need hardware fix, everything else is software. The airlines I fly soon will all be done within a few days.

I have a flight the 23 December in an A320 but Air France can easily swap to something else I guess. What I would like to know is how many A320 are actually affected : all, 50%, just a dozen ?

It has improved a lot. When I was going to Paris 25 years ago this was different. But I am French from the countryside so my experience is a bit different :D

Yeah they aim to change their demographics. I am still OK next year because I renew end of April, so before the cut off date, so I will still get *A until mid-2028. Then I need to find another plan.

The proper Parisian answer would just have been to shrug and continue walking :D
As long as you say "Bonjour" to everybody when entering the shop you can then speak English or just point, people will be happy to help you. We French have a bad rep with English but it is getting better.
