Skopje airport is surprisingly nice, recent and airy. There are no security fast track and it was a bit congested. There is a lounge though with apron views

I have only one full day in Skopje, so let's visit with me. Short history: major city with an ottoman rule that shaped the old city up to the early 20th century, then an earthquake in 1963 destroyed it. Tito get it rebuild with international cooperation in a Socialist Futurist style.
