The earliest I can recall is the original Halo. My dad had the Gearbox PC port and he would play it a lot. I know I played that version first, sometime later my dad got both me and my brother Xboxs with Halo presumably so my dad could get his computer back.

I'm struggling with Natura 1 because I want to tell Cuts's backstory in it but I'm afraid flashback chapters will be too clunky and bog down the main narrative. Making a whole ass prequel novel seems like overkill to me and I'd prefer not having two war novels in this series.

Not me adding something to the setup of Natura 1 that requires big rewrites of chapters I've already rewritten and fucks up what happens in 2 and 3 as well.
