I am a student at Brown in communication with a friend at RIBC.

There is an urgent need for blood donations to support RI. Donations in NY, NJ, MN, NB, DE or NJ can help supply RI.

Spread the word.

This is a really interesting and sad read, the sexual exploitation behind bot farms that are forcing many different workers to catfish unaware marks is kind of eye-opening. When it isn't being built on theft, AI is built on human suffering.
Most profound writing I read in 2026 was "The Emotional Labor Behind AI Intimacy" by a Nairobi man who dreamed of working in air traffic control but instead winds up sexting & chatting w ppl who think they're talking to AI (while AI trains on him). 16 pages & free - READ IT data-workers.org/michael/

If it wasn't for modern medicine, my best friend would be dead. Her husband would have a beautiful perfect baby, but she would be gone.

It's gonna take me a while to come to grips with what very nearly occurred. I'm so grateful for attentive nurses and medical education in general.

Henry Ford is without exaggeration the worst thing Michigan has ever given this nation and by extension the world.

New Epstein revelations raise an obvious question: Why didn’t Democrats release these emails earlier? From Ryan Cooper:

How on Earth Are We Just Now Hearing About Trump’s ‘Hours’ With an Epstein Victim? - The American Prospect
The recent release of more emails is only the latest in about 10,000 stories implicating Donald Trump in Jeffrey Epstein’s abuses. What were the Justice Department and congressional Democrats doing with the information all this time?

A little bit funny Trump tanked the economy, sent soldiers into DC, and turned off the Govt just to avoid what is currently happening. Guess we found the one thing that is actually sticking to him.

The Congress switchboard number is (202) 224-3121. You can use this number to connect with either the US Senate or the House of Representatives.

Dick Cheney died far too old and far too free. The fact that such monsters get to pass away in their eighties surrounded by loved ones instead of alone in a cage is an indictment of our entire civilization.

Republicans don’t need to know how to govern for the same reason the 9/11 hijackers didn’t need to know how to land.

Everyone in my community is like "Where were all the trick-or-treaters? No one went out." How many kids are too tired to trick-or-treat because of covid? I know my niece was so tired she could barely stay awake the next day. It's unusual that a couple hours getting candy would floor an 11 year old.

Please please please consider wearing masks in public. It is good for your heath and also prevents these fuckers from being able to scan you. Wear sunglasses too.
DHS document states ICE will NOT let people decline from being scanned by its new facial recognition app - Mobile Fortify.

It is used to verify one’s identity and immigration status. However, the face photos taken will be stored for 15 years, regardless of your immigration status.

I'm legitimately scared for people who are going to lose SNAP, and to do this just before the holidays... Maybe some Republicans will change their minds when they are forced to face their own cruelty.

🧵Most people have a very poor understanding of source control.

Want to help them gain a better grasp of it? Go to work or school or a hospital or any other place you have to be that doesn't have universal masking in place.

Then take a shit on the floor. (1/10)

Psych 🧵: "What is wrong w/ these people" is a question that keeps coming up in posts about maladaptive health risk reduction, re: people becoming vaccine hesitant or anti-vax; folks gravitating toward ineffective viral cures like ivermectin or hydroxycholiquine; & more recently, new suspicion

My youngest contracted an intestinal virus that prevented their digestion of breast milk. They were under 6 months, and seriously ill. Soy based formula to the rescue! What is wrong with these people!?
