Veterans from every corner of the country came to DC this week to send one unified message to Congress: no troops on our streets.

Service members signed up to defend the Constitution, not to police their neighbors.

So, DOJ has refused to give states a straight answer on why they want data; told them they would not share w/ DHS. Now, of course, we find out they are sharing with DHS and loading into a database without required state notification and without privacy protections. NO, we will not share our data.
The DOJ has been pressing states since May for their registration rolls, which include sensitive personal information of every single voter, claiming the agency wants to ensure compliance with federal voter laws. www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/...
States Want to Know: Why Does the DOJ Want Their Voter Rolls, Really?

Will say again. If this was London or Paris, it would not be tolerated. But we expect Ukrainians to put up with this horror every night. Indeed, we in the west are getting inured to it. It should enrage us.
Cosmic fucking horror

Get loud; stay loud! Expose the cruelty; expose the illegal actions; expose the untrained bullies who use inexcusable force to terrorize our communities. The Trump regime thrives on cruelty. We do not.

Affordable healthcare is still top of mind for many, especially with premiums set to skyrocket. If not the ACA, then something else has to give—people can’t lose coverage, go bankrupt, or die because they can’t afford care.
We do not want to go back to sham health insurance plans and denials
Obamacare isn’t perfect, but it’s better than what we had—and what the GOP proposes.

Khanna: "The speaker looked frazzled last night. I think he's totally lost it. He's attacking the bill and he's not showing up to hear the survivors. The survivors wanted this bill. Then he's voting for a bill he criticized. And he's lost the confidence of half the people in his own caucus."

This is INSANE CRUELTY & violates any sense of decency that we possess. We must oppose this illegal, violent action. There is NO rationale for the actions of the ICE/CPB/Federal forces who thrive on cruelty & violence. Thank you @jacobsoboroff.bsky.social for your amazing reporting & kind heart.

ACA tax credits must be extended; millions of people lose healthcare if not. Trump gave Argentina the amount that would pay for a year of tax credits for US Citizens. So much for America first. Very clear; GOP NEVER plans to work to provide affordable healthcare. Lying to try to get Dems to ok CR.
Extending the health care tax credits for one year costs about the same as Trump’s bailout of Argentina.

Trump and Congressional Republicans must come to the table and negotiate—before tens of millions of Americans see their health care premiums double.

Senate Democrats are offering a path forward: Reopen the government and extend the health care tax credits for 1 year to ensure millions of Americans don’t see their premiums double in January.

The past 24 hours really exposed the Republicans’ non-plan on health care. Since they were unable to repeal the ACA, they intend to make health insurance premiums skyrocket so people can’t afford health care, which will ultimately make emergency rooms their primary care doctors.

Trump thinks bailing out Argentina after they took the soybean market from US Farmers is supporting US Farmers? And, why in the world should US taxpayers pay $40b to bail out Argentina? We pay for tariffs, Argentina takes market & we bail them out too? He is just making a campaign contribution.
What Trump has to say to American farmers is that they have to understand it is more important to save his friend Milei who has a big election coming up. Peasants. bsky.app/profile/atru...
Q: What do you have to say to farmers who feel that the deal is benefitting Argentina more than it is them?

TRUMP: Look, Argentina is fighting for its life, young lady. You don't know anything about it. You understand what that means? They are dying
