i think one of the most painful aspects of this move is that even people who make me feel welcome and appreciated can’t help but encourage us to leave. not because they don’t love maeby or me. just because they know it’s probably the best for our safety and happiness
i’m really lucky to have met and worked with some really cool people in tulsa, especially over the last year. people who care about their neighbor and community. it really sucks having to say goodbye to them just so i can live somewhere more safe for a trans person
