If I saw so many people promising no vote for Newsom that I believed it would cost him the election, "thinking strategically" would mean making sure Dems don't even consider letting him be the nominee. It seems like bad strategy to scold voters on behalf of a right wing creep everyone hates.
Answer me this:
You have to choose between Gavin Newsom and Trump or some MAGA chump. No other options. If you're really saying that you wouldn't vote for Newsom in that situation, you're not smart enough do what's best for all Americans. Especially trans people.
