I thought briefly it would be useful to bring up kier starmer when vote blue folks get angry in the comments but that would require having an understanding politics beyond democrats good.

This has got me thinking about the constant back and forth between the state doing the violence and the state looking the other way while someone does the violence. Like there’s a sine wave of actors that goes from antebellum state to kkk to police to “neighborhood watch” but the output is the same
I’m struck by how reminiscent these ICE raids and the agents who launch them are of the white people who went out looking for and murdering Black people in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

I genuinely don’t know if I can/how to approach the insurrection isn’t automatically bad convo with angry liberals post January 6. Summer 2020 into fall I was watching suburban liberal moms radicalize more each day and then Biden won, j6 happened, and insurrection was bad again

I firmly believe that you can understand how some liberals are disgusted by what’s happening yet cheering on proposals to continue funding ice by watching Oscar movies. Mostly it’s just something pretty with no substance and good acting covering up bad writing
