Mcl have split the lower wishbone in two, to create a unique multilink setup.
Its an aero solution, not possible with a wishbone. Along with the clever steering trackrod & angled top wishbone. The MCL39 downwashes more flow to the floor, for more downforce.

Red Bull #RB21 details.
Although little has changed externally, the car is different in a few areas.
Both long and short nose tips were tested, these affect the undernose airflow to the floor. The general suspension & rearward cockpit layout is similar to 2024.

Details of the Merc #W16
The main change is the switch to the steering trackrod to behind the lower wishbone. This directs more to the floor.
The nose bulge and cockpit front, may be an aero trick to shed downwash off the chassis top.

Did you know Suzuki tested natural composite bodywork in #MotoGP? Since they departed MotoGP in 2022, they've raced flax (grass) composite bodywork in the Suzuka 8 hour
As well as being more sustainable, @BcompLtd flax composite creates fewer sharp shards when damaged

Here's #LN4 running a steering sweep test
March 1, 2025 at 6:56 PM
Interesting @reddit post, about the 'steer sweep' technique.
A track test procedure to check how the cars aero is affected by different steer angles.
Something hard to replicate in a wind tunnel.

Not much focus on @stakef1team_ks recently. There's some good ideas on the Sauber #C45.
Similar to last years mirrors, they really stretch what's allowed with mirror 'bodywork'
