Wow, what a lovely wine. You don’t necessarily see a lot of Mourvedrè (Mataro) in the US. A treat from regen ag/biodynamic producer Troon… Rogue Valley AVA, southern OR. A bit lighter than what we enjoy in France, with smooth silky tannins, yet the same rustic richness #winesky #troonvineyards

When I reach for Bordeaux, I prefer something softened by age. Porte Chic’s Pomerol ‘15 hit that sweet spot - big on flavor layers, perky acidity, silky tannins, velvety soft. A wine to cuddle up with on a cool autumn evening with a significant other or a good book! Best part? #Winesky
