Wow, what a lovely wine. You don’t necessarily see a lot of Mourvedrè (Mataro) in the US. A treat from regen ag/biodynamic producer Troon… Rogue Valley AVA, southern OR. A bit lighter than what we enjoy in France, with smooth silky tannins, yet the same rustic richness #winesky #troonvineyards

In the NE, barely in Galicia, DO Ribeira Sacra. Takes dedication there… mountains and steep river valleys. Alvaredos-Hobbs and O Estranxeiro could be easier to find.
