Gods, does Goro wish he was at that table. It's more difficult to see the two from this direction, other customers milling about and blocking the view, but every time he gets a flash of dark curls, he can feel his pulse jump. Which is probably pathetic. If just that alone is enough to make him tremble, given the state he's in, how the hell is he going to go over there and talk to Akira? What's he even going to say? He has absolutely no plan. 'What are you doing here?' Obviously he's finding a hookup. 'Why didn't you come over?' He said, because he'd already planned around this. Also, really pathetic. 'Why are you talking to him and not me?' First of all, because Akira has autonomy. Second of all, because Akira probably wants to have sex with that guy instead. Third of all, wow, that was even more pathetic. Frustration building, Goro glares down into his drink, reflection distorting on the surface of the amber liquid. Tipping it back, he swallows down a healthy amount, clunking it perhaps a little too hard back down onto the bar. This was so fucking stupid. Waste of an evening. He really should have just buried himself in work, like he said he would. Not like he'd said that with any real truth or drive behind it in the first place. He was just… angry. That Akira was going out instead of coming to him. Like a… pampered little princeling without his concubine, or something. Fuck. Goro buries his face in one of his hands, the other loosely wrapped around his glass. Rubs at his eyes, gazes down past his palm at the wood counter top. He probably looks like a picture perfect Drunk Spiral right now, to the bartender and the people pushing forward to the side of the bar beside him, but he doesn't care. It really doesn't matter what anyone else thinks; he knows he's fucking disgusting. "Could I settle my tab? It's under Kurusu." Goro's head shoots up so fast he nearly tips backwards off his stool.
