Yeah man when I saw The Avengers eleven times in theatres it was $7 a ticket. Now I’m seeing these movies once in theatres and it’s $18 a ticket. Has to affect it somehow.

I miss the days before blockbuster culture where anything, any genre, had the same chance of being a box office success.

Have not read your article yet, but my two cents upon reading the headline is that inflation has made ticket prices more expensive so it looks like movies are making more money than they are these days. The quality of superhero films has plateaued / gone down for sure regardless of the box office.
