Despite almost three decades in university admin feeling this, I'd never heard it expressed before. Without us you'd have no prospectuses, intranet, timetables, etc., it's a long list, but whevs, at least I can spell 'probably'.

It's true that what you put on the internet never dies. I deleted my entire Twitter archive over a year ago and yet this tweet from about three years ago just surfaced on an IG account that I had blocked for stealing people's stuff.
