Took my leopard Gecko that I've had a minimum of 10 years to the vet because I thought her poop was compacted. Turns out she is a he, and it was compacted semen. The vet said it was the biggest nug she'd ever personally seen/removed. Well Daenerys now Danny, is home and well. He's a healthy lil guy

I mean it's all after-the-fact arbitrary. You can't reason with it.
I think if God made 450 out of 1,000 kids die in the 1800s and modern medicine reduced that to 6 out of 1,000 then science is more compassionate than God.
So either science IS doing God's work.
Or your God is a cruel monster.
