That is the problem. People are not earning enough to help running the country. Poor people = poor country! Chancellors must aim to help people to earn more, not to only help people to survive.

Watch and cry. This country used to be at the forefront of technology until the 60s & 70s. Concorde first flied in 1969! We put a satellite in space in 1962. There was a rocket launch facility in IoW! How did we lost our lead so spectacularly?

My dear fella, doing politics is good but lying isn’t. How do you know how much any of those people earn? If it’s not a lie and you are confusing earning with wealth, it’s equally bad. How can we trust you run the country if you don’t know the basics of economics?
