What do these corporations have in common?

Netflix
Ford
Tesla
T-Mobile
Duke Energy
DISH Network
Metlife
Dominion Energy
United States Steel

In recent years, they all paid their execs more than they paid in taxes.

This is what a corporate-rigged system looks like.

WOW!

Smith really is rattled about recall!

Despite the gofundme myth being debunked & even unions making it clear they aren’t organizing anything, Smith announced that she’s looking at ways to make recall rules less accessible!

You know, the recall rules she just re-wrote

I think folks should be making a bigger fucking deal about how our Premier is saying out loud that the judicial branch shouldn’t be a check and balance against the legislative and executive branches. That notion is one of the pillars of modern democracy itself. calgaryherald.com/news/premier...
Premier Danielle Smith says courts should be more 'constrained' in making decisions

I read yesterday that Australia has installed so much solar capacity it will start giving people free electricity during peak hours. Meanwhile my Provincial gov’t “paused” renewables projects costing an estimated $33B in investment and wants to double oil production to sell to places like Australia.

The most insanely frustrating thing about the #ClimateCrisis is how the breakthrough we so clearly need isn’t technological. It’s just a collective willingness, a determination even, to change in ways that would clearly be SO MUCH BETTER than the clear and obvious consequences of NOT changing.

Every other province has increased their wage in 2025. Alberta’s hasn’t changed since 2019, before the inflationary pandemic cycle.
Premier Danielle Smith says Alberta will not be raising the minimum wage because doing so will continue to hurt youth employment.

She points to the NDP for raising the min wage previously and blames them for Alberta currently having the worst youth unemployment rate in Canada
